Dr. Carlos Valdes is a cross-trained Prosthodontist and Oral Surgical Implantologist. He practices General and Cosmetic Dentistry in his New York City office. Dr. Valdes is one of a handful of doctors that places and restores dental implants. He also diagnoses and treats Temporomandibular Joint Disorders or TMJ. When not practicing dentistry in his private Midtown Manhattan dental practice, he formerly maintained an attending hospital position at New York Medical College, and Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan, where he trains general dentists and residents. Dr. Valdes has also served as Chief Resident at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. For leisure, Dr. Valdes likes to take Portuguese lessons, go bike riding, go to yoga classes, take dance lessons, and garden.
